At every dose, the gap between the cheapest and dearest pharmacy is between £86 and £108 a month. The medicine is the same Lilly tablet wherever you buy it, so the difference comes from the pharmacy's pricing:
- A new medicine. Foundayo was approved by the MHRA in August 2026, and pharmacies are still settling their prices. Prices can move quickly, which is why we check them daily.
- Introductory prices. Some pharmacies discount the first month only. Check what you will pay from month two.
- What's included. Most prices include the online consultation, prescription and standard delivery. A few charge for these separately.
- Flat or stepped pricing. Some pharmacies charge the same for every strength, others charge more as the dose goes up. At 17.2mg the cheapest price today is £121, against £229 at the dearest.
- Bundles. Some pharmacies charge less per month when you buy two or three months at once.

About the treatment
What is Foundayo (orforglipron)?
Foundayo is a prescription-only, once-daily tablet containing orforglipron, approved by the MHRA for weight management in adults on 10 August 2026. It's a small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist, so it works on the same appetite hormone as Wegovy, helping you feel fuller and eat less. Unlike the Wegovy pill, it can be taken at any time of day, with or without food or water.
Who is it for?
Usually prescribed to adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 or above with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes, alongside diet and activity changes. A clinical assessment and valid prescription are required; it can't be bought over the counter.
